The clown doll is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1970s or 1980s. The doll feels like it has a foam head. There is a 2''x 4'' wooden section for the torso which allows it to be posed sitting. The lower arms and legs have large wooden clothes pins inside. There is an orange felt top hat and felt material facial features. There is a red cloth ruffled collar. The doll was purposely made to be posed sitting. The doll has baggy clothing made of an old Borden Cracker Jack box cloth material. It features Sailor Jack & Bingo and a Cracker Jack background. The Circus clown doll measures about 21'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
