The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Plastic & Metal Mechanical Candy Container and Dispenser Miniature Toy Gun. This miniature toy gun is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s.

Because this is on old candy or food related item and it would never be approved by any of the current safety standards. Operation of this toy candy dispenser gun could pose a choking hazard, especially to small children. Important! Please Note:

This item is being offered as an old advertising collectible item only. It is being offered only for display purposes and not intended nor being sold for actual use. By buying this item you agree to take full responsibility for the purpose and non use of it and keep it away from and out of the reach of children. You agree that you will not hold Time Passages Nostalgia Company liable or responsible for any injury or illness that may result by anyone mistakenly using it for its original purpose of dispensing candy, now or any time in the future.

The top section was made to hold a small amount of tiny multi colored candy balls. The original tin cap is still on it. The candy would go down through a chamber to the barrel. You would pull a spring loaded metal handle and let it go to fire a single candy ball into your mouth. It is made of yellow or gold translucent plastic and has what appears to be a company logo or emblem on one side and the other side is marked as follows:

PAT. P.
38552
38553
JAPAN

This tiny candy dispenser toy gun measures about 2-11/16'' long. It is in working order with a strong metal spring and it appears to be in very good condition with a few small cracks as pictured.
