| | | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Aunt Jemima Pancakes Advertising Premium Rag Doll Family Ordering Instructions in this lot. This listing does NOT include the dolls. These box panels are not dated but they are believed to be from the mid 1920s. The red one is off the top of a Aunt Jemima's Pancake Flour box top and the yellow one is from the top of a Buckwheat box. They both read the same. They both tell you ''HOW TO GET THE AUNT JEMIMA RAG DOLLS''. You could order one doll, or the whole family with Aunt Jemima, Uncle Mose, and the pickaninnies, Diana, and Wade Davis. All four rag dolls could be had for (4) box tops and 16c in stamps. The dolls that you received were printed cloth. You would cut them out, sew the fronts to the backs, and stuff them. These cardboard panels measure about 4'' x 2''. They appear to be in excellent condition with jagged edges as pictured. |
