The picture shows a view of the 1930s Jane Arden Comic Strip Character Premium Play Money & Wallet in this lot. The wallet is shown unfolded. One side was for ''Jane Arden Paper Stage Money'' and the other side was for ''Jane Arden Coin Money''. The wallet and play money were cut out of the comic or funnies section of 1932 and 1933 newspapers. There are partial comic strips on the backs of each of these and some are dated ©1932 and ©1933. Some of these have the Artist name ''Russ Westover'' and some have the Artist name ''Jimmy Murphy''. Each of the ''Lucky Bucks'' play money bills have two comic strip characters. These are as follows:

$10.00 - Buttercup and Spare Ribs
$10.00 - Colonel and Mrs. Hoofer
$5.00 - Danny Hoofer and Mabel Charming
$5.00 - Toots and Casper
$5.00 - Uncle Abner and Stella Clinker
$5.00 - Toots and Casper
$5.00 - Uncle Everett and Elsie
$2.00 - Bubbles and Bob
$1.00 - Tillie and Mac
$1.00 - Tillie and Eddie
$1.00 - Big Shot Whipple and Tillie
Wallet - Jane Arden and Carl

To judge the sizes the play money measures about 4-3/4'' x 2''. These had been neatly cut out of newspapers and appear to be in mint condition as pictured.
