The picture shows a view of this Unused 1954 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Walt Disney Movie Ad Mat Mold. The ad mat is not dated but it is from the 1954 movie. This is a mold in which lead is poured to create a thin metal negative image that is then mounted on a wooden block for printing. Advertising is no longer being made or printed like this. The ad mat is like a miniature 3-D poster and would look nice framed, or you could still use it and make print blocks from it. The print block would have been used to print on movie pages in newspapers, in magazines, or in the movie theater programs. It is made of a thick compressed paper board. This admat has a movie scene image of divers, a ship, and some of the actors in the movie and Donald Duck. It is marked as follows:

WALT DISNEY PRESENTS
20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA
COLOR BY TECHNCOLOR
CINEMASCOPE IN THE WONDER OF STEREOPHONIC SOUND!
THE ADVENTURE WRITTEN A HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE ITS TIME
BECOMES A MOTION PICTURE TO BE REMEMBERED FOREVER!
KIRK DOUGLAS - JAMES MASON - PAUL LUKAS - PETER LORRE

PLUS
THE FIRST DONALD DUCK CARTOON IN CINEMASCOPE
WALT DISNEY'S GRAND CANYONSCOPE

The ad mat measures about 4-3/8'' x 5-3/8''. It is in mint unused condition as pictured. Below here, for reference, is a cast list from the 1954 movie:
