The picture shows three views of this Old Lithographed Tin Joke or Trick Novelty Toy Radio. This joke radio is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. The way this radio works is when a person pushes the on/off button, it opens the speaker section door. Out pops a fake white mouse. The mouse has a spring inside it. As the mouse comes out it also activates a squeaking noise mechanism inside. The pictures show the closed radio with the mouse, the opened radio with the squeak noise making section inside, and the back side of the radio.

This trick radio may have come from an old magic shop, a catalog, or from an old comic book advertisement. It is marked ''SANY'' instead of Sony. It is a fun old toy radio. The tin radio measures 4-3/4'' x 2-3/4'' x 1-1/2''. It is in excellent condition as pictured with only light wear. The strap is made of an unusual plastic material and it has twists and kinks as seen. It can be easily removed if desired.
