| The picture shows all (6) Old Horse Racing Items in this lot. Included in this lot is an old Suffolk Downs (Massachusetts) advertising match book cover. There are no matches and there is some scrap book paste on the back. Next are two lithographed tin advertising tab buttons. One is from Suffolk Downs in Massachusetts (#70), and the other was from Rockingham Park in New Hampshire (#49). Also in this lot is a blue painted metal race horse with a jockey. I am not sure but this might be an old game piece. There is an embroidered cloth patch that reads: KENTUCKY HORSE PARK
LEXINGTON, KY. Last but not least is an early painted celluloid race horse and Jockey charm. This one is believed to be from the 1920's or 1930's. To judge the sizes the matchbook cover measures 1-1/2" x 4". Please see the picture for the various conditions. |
