It is not dated but believed to be from the 1930s or 1940s. Blue Coal was the long time sponsor of the old radio and television show ''THE SHADOW''. It is made of painted & printed wood, metal, and glass. It is blue with gray print. It is marked as follows: 'BLUE COAL'

GUARANTEES THE QUALITY It measures 6'' tall. It appears to be in excellent condition however, the bottom tip of the thermometer is broken and it is not working. The good news is that it is easily replaced, just slip the old one out and slip another in. |
