| The picture shows a view of all (4) Different Colorful Old German Children's Pictures on Wood in this lot. These are not dated but they are old. The first one is marked ''MADE IN GERMANY'' on the back. Each of the colorful pictures are mounted on a thin wooden panel. We do not know for certain, but we believe that these are panels that were saved from old nesting wooden toy blocks that came apart. They would make great little hanging plaques. One has two black Musicians, one with a banjo, and one singing. One has a dog looking strangely at a toy doll. One has a dressed goat farmer with a basket, a rake, and a scythe at a door with a younger goat. The last one has a strange looking duck boy and girl with human bodies. She is holding a teddy bear. These vary in size with the largest panel (goat) measures 3-15/16'' x 3-7/8''. They appear to be in excellent condition with some edge wear on some of the paper as pictured. |
