The picture shows two views of this Old Red Goose Shoes Advertising Premium Golden Egg Coin Savings Bank. The year that this bank was made is unknown but it is believed to be from the 1950s. It was probably given away as a premium when I child got a pair of shoes. The egg is made of gold hard plastic. The bottom has a flat spot so that it doesn't roll away. There are two halves to the egg. On the top it has an image of the Red Goose Shoes advertising character goose and it is marked as follows:

RED GOOSE SHOES
FOR BOYS AND GIRLS
HALF THE FUN OF HAVING FEET

The golden egg bank measures about 3-1/4'' long. It is in mint unused condition as pictured. It has a little scotch tape on the side that can be taken off if desired.
