This ad has three boys pictured eating the cereal, a three carton package of Kix cereal and a bowl of the cereal as well. This war time advertisement has a small image of Uncle Sam with a silhouette of a family. The magazine that it came from is unknown. The ad measures about 9-7/8'' x 12-3/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition with some age discoloration and some wear on the right side edge as pictured. This ©1943 General Mills Kix Cereal advertisement was professionally photographed and was chosen to be featured in full color on page #60 of the ©2011 ''The Great American Cereal Book'' by Marty Gitlin and Topher Ellis. The nice hard cover book was published by Abrams Image of New York City and it is now available. ISBN: 978-0-8109-9799-8. |
