The year that these were made are unknown but they are believed to be from the 1950s. These have never had the matches attached. The back sides have more advertising. These were made by the Lion Match Company of New York, N.Y.. They each picture a Sterling Super Market Store logo, a Shurfine logo, and are marked as follows: BUY AND ENJOY
