| | | | The picture below shows a view of the covers of the (2) Old GROSSMAN'S Building Supply Catalogs in this lot. I can not find a date on either of these, but they appear to be from the 1940's or early 1950's. These catalogs are filled cover to cover with all builing supplies that were available at the time they were made. It is very funny or I should say shocking, the prices of everything in these! You could at the time buy ALL of the supplies for a vacation home in here for as little as $2.50 per week! Have your Building Supply Store match these prices! There are tons of Tools, Building Materials, Appliances, Windows, Lighting, Bathroom & Kitchen Fixtures, and lots more! These would be fun catalogs for anyone in the construction business! The left one has 116 pages and the right one has 90 pages. These would also make great reference books. To judge the sizes the larger of the two measures 8'' x 11''. Both are in excellent+ condition. |
