The pictures show views of this 1901 Montgomery's Illustrated Guide Book of Portsmouth New Hampshire With Map. Shown is the booklet cover, the attached map, a closer view of the title area of the map, and a few sample pages from inside the booklet. This is a (36) page booklet that was published by W. A. Greenough & Co. of 97 Oliver Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The original 1901 map is still attached inside the front cover. The map measures about 16'' x 19''. It is of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Kittery, Maine. It includes the United States Navy Shipyard, all of the port's islands, and the Piscataqua River. It also has the Concord Railroad, Boston & Maine Railroad, and the Portsmoth & Dover Railroad.

The inside front cover has an advertisement for H. P. Mongomery. It advertises Pianos, Organs, and Musical Goods as well as Fine Pictures, Art Novelties, Framing, Artists' Materials, Kodak and Photographic Supplies. The company was from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

The booklet measures about 4'' x 5-1/4''. It is in excellent condition as pictured. The booklet is filled with all kinds of Historic information of the Portsmouth area. There are (13) pictures inside as well (see below list). Below here is a long list of the captions or titles that are under all of the old photograph images inside the booklet:
