| | | | The picture shows a view of all (10) Colorful Old United States President Cards in this lot. The backs have some information on the pictured President. This is obviously not a complete set. The year these were made and the number in the set are unknown. It is not certain if they were trading cards, game cards, or used as a premium or prize. Each has a President portrait in an oval rope. There is an eagle above and crossed American flags below. At the bottom is the President's facscimile autograph or signature. Included in this lot are the following Presidents: George Washington
John Adams
James Madison
John Tyler
Zachary Taylor
Andrew Johnson
Ulysses S. Grant
James Garfield
William McKinley
Woodrow Wilson The cards measure 3-1/8'' x 4-5/16''. They are in good condition. There are some light marks on the fronts as pictured. The backs each have some crayon marks or letters at the top in the white space above the text. There is no white border at the bottoms of these, but it is unknown why, or if they were made like this. |
