| The picture shows a view of the (2) Different Old Kim LOVE IS... Items in this lot. These were comic strip xcharacters that were syndicated in many newspapers in the 1970s. Each day would have a different ''Love Is...'' saying. There were all kinds of things made with these characters especially porcelain figurines. The first item is a framed felt picture. The frame is original and the backing is marked ''© L.A. TIMES SYNDICATE''. The two are sitting by some flowers and the saying reads ''Love is... ...sharing your deepest secrets. It is also signed ''KIM''. The next item is an imprinted plastic plaque. This may have been on something at one point, but I am not sure. It has an image of the two on a see saw or teeter todder. It too is marked ''KIM'' and the saying on it is ''Love is... ...a series of ups and downs.''. To judge the sizes the larger one measures 5-3/4'' x 8-3/4''. They are in near mint condition. |
