The first book is “Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland”. It does not have a date. It does have an inscription in pencil that reads: “Roxena Prescott From Cousin Maurice Xmas Dec. 1908.” The book has (40) detailed illustrations by John Tenniel. It was published by The W. B. Conkey Company of Chicago, Illinois. The book has two stories inside including “ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND (150) pages, and “FLOWER FABLES” by Louisa M. Alcott (48) pages. This book measures about 5'' x 6-3/4'' x 1''.

The second book is “Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland” and “Through The Looking Glass” (complete in one volume). It does not have a date, but it is believed to be from the 1930s. It has an inscription that may have been from someone in the play that reads: “TO MY LITTLE FRIEND IRENE. FROM ?????????????” (see picture #5 below). The book has many specially posed illustrations from the Paramount Photoplay, throughout the books (300) pages. It was published by Grosset & Dunlap, Publishers of New York.
