The pictures show views of this 1905 Appledore House Isles of Shoals New Hampshire Advertising Souvenir Booklet With the Bonus in this lot. Shown is the bonus item, the booklet cover, and a few sample pages from inside the booklet. The bonus here is an unused early 1900s Library Book Label from the Church at Gosport of Star Island (of the Isles of Shoals), N.H.. It has a print of the church, a ship anchor, compass as well as a dolphin and sea shell border.

The booklet is titled ''APPLEDORE HOUSE ISLES OF SHOALS OFF PORTSMOUTH, N.H.''. The booklet has (20) pages filled with pictures and History of the Isles of Shoals. On the inside cover is a poem on Appledore by the famous Poetess of the Isles of Shoals, Celia Thaxter. The back cover has a poem by James Russell Lowell titled ''PICTURES OF APPLEDORE''. The booklet was put out by Laighton Brothers who still have steam boat and U.S. Mail service to the islands. The booklet measures 6'' x 4-5/8''. It is in excellent condition as pictured. The Church Library Label is in mint unused condition. Below here are the titles or captions under the pictures inside the booklet:
