The box has a copyright date of 1901 and the tin is not dated but believed to be from the 1930's. The box has a beautiful image of roses and a pretty lady holding the candy. It has the original embossed inner paper lining. It is difficult to see in the picture but it is embossed twice with the same lady image as well as the company name. The box is marked as follows:

Lowney's Chocolates
American Beauties
Copyright 1901
Lowney, Boston

The tin is for the same candies. Included is the original waxed paper insert and the cardboard divider section. It has an image of a single rose in the center and it is marked as follows:

Lowney's
Small Pieces
American Beauty Chocolates
One Pound Net
M.M.L.Co.©
Walter M. Lowney Co., Boston

The box measures 7-5/8" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/2" and the tin measures 7-1/4" x 1-3/4". The box is in excellent condition with three tiny holes and the tin is in good condition with wear and a dent on one side.
