The picture shows this Rare Old Lowney's Confections Advertising Trading Card. This is a very nice, old, and colorful trade card from Lowney Bros. & Company. The card is from prior to the company being called the Walter M. Lowney Company. It is not dated believed to be from the late 1800's. The card pictures a young girl in a bonnet playing on a see saw made of candy with a little black boy. It reads as follows:

"HOW DEAR TO MY HEART ARE THE SCENES OF MY CHILDHOOD"
LOWNEY BROS. & CO.
FINE CONFECTIONERY,
ORIGINAL
PHILADELPHIA CARAMELS.
500 WASHINGTON St., BOSTON.
KETTERLINUS PHILADA

The card measures 4-1/16" x 2-13/16". The condition appears to be excellent with a very light crease in the upper right corner and light age discoloration on the blank back.
