| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Large Colorful 1960s Hammond Trip To The Moon Educational Space Poster. It is not dated but believed to be from around 1969 or 1970. It is © Hammond Incorporated of Maplewood, New Jersey. The poster has colorful numbered images of the stages or steps that it took to reach the Moon. It shows many different Astronaut and space ship events that had to take place to reach the final goal and return. It is called A Hammond Talking Map”. Perhaps it came with a recording, we do not know. There are (16) Astronauts pictured with the role that they played in the space program. Included are the following: ALAN B. SHEPARD, JR.

The large colorful educational poster measures about 38'' x 25''. It appears to be in fair used condition as pictured. There is over all wrinkling, a few small edge tears, and some spotting. There are folds as made but no thumb tack holes. |
