| | | | The picture shows the very graphic and colorful front and back cover of this ©1934 Quaker Puffed Rice & Puffed Wheat Cereal Premium Magic Book. It is entitled "Dick Daring's New Bag Of Tricks". Both of the inside covers are just as graphic with different magic images but only in black & white. There are 64 pages of magic here with pictures and instructions on every page. On the back The Quaker Oats Company advertises and pictures colorful boxes of Quaker Puffed Rice & Quaker Puffed Wheat "The Food Shot From Guns". There are two pages inside of Magic premiums pictured (10 items!) that can be ordered from Quaker Oats by sending boxtops from Quaker Puffed Rice & Quaker Puffed Wheat. (Sorry the offer expired on July 1, 1934). The book measures 5" x 7-1/2". Now about the condition : There is overall edge wear, a crease on the cover and a small corner crease. All can be seen on the picture. All the pages are clean and only have rounded corners as the cover does. The spine is tight and all pages are present. |
