| | | | The pictures show a front and back view of this 1916 Hub Furniture Company Advertising Premium Calendar Plate. This colorful old plate has the twelve month calendar of 1916. It also has an eagle, clouds, a flag shield, and an American flag on a flagpole. The advertising and the two rings at the edge are in gold. The back is marked ''SEMI PORCELAIN'' and has a small monogram type company marking. It is marked on the front as follows: COMPLIMENTS OF THE
HUB FURNITURE CO.,

PORTLAND, MAINE The Hub Furniture Company store was opened in 1913, only three years before this plate was made, and they are still in business today in Portland and Westbrook, Maine. The plate measures 7-1/8'' wide. It appears to be in good condition as pictured with some age crazing. |
