| | | | The picture shows three views of the Many Colorful Opal Stone Chips Sealed in a Round Glass Bauble. We have had this item for many years. We do not know who the maker is or the year that it was made. It was most likely made for a jewelry item. Any jeweler, designer, or crafts person could fit it with a charm or ornament loop for hanging, for a necklace, an earring, a charm bracelet, or it could be set in a fitting for a ring. It would also look nice in a marble, paperweight, miniature, or glass collection, or as a miniature paperweight in a doll house. The round glass vial is sealed closed. It contains many bright and colorful opals floating very slowly around (like a mini lava light) in a liquid inside. The opal chips change color (greens, blues, reds, and more) with the lighting. There are also tiny black chips inside as well. This tiny glass bauble measures about 7/16'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
