| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Unused ©1943 Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection C. Carey Cloud Wiggle Snake Paper Prize. Artist and Designer C. Carey Cloud was a prize Designer for Cracker Jack from 1937 to the early 1960s. He had designed hundreds of prizes throughout the depression, World War II and beyond. This prize has a 1939 U.S. Patent number but it is dated ©1943. The novelty toy prizes were made of mainly tin or paper before and after WWII, paper during this time because of war shortages, and mostly of paper and injection molded plastic after the war. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize was Z-1003. The prize is die cut. It has separated but has not been used. The prize measures about 8-1/16'' x 1-11/16''. It appears to be in good unused condition with a side scrap piece missing as pictured. |
