1953 Yankee Division Veterans Association Convention Ribbon Medal
Yankee Division   YD   Military   Medal   Ribbon   World War I   Veteran   U.S. Army   Soldier
The picture shows this 1953 Yankee Division Veterans Association Convention Ribbon Medal. Beginning at the top there is a metal name pin with no paper insert. Hanging from it is a printed purple ribbon that reads:

34th ANNUAL
CONVENTION
Y.D. VETERANS
ASSOCIATION
JUNE 25 - 26 - 27 - 28

Hanging from the ribbon is a medallion that has a raised image of a World War I soldier. There is also an enameled "YD" emblem. The medal reads:

1953
NEW HAVEN, CONN. (Connecticut)

The back of the medal has three logos that look like union marks. There is also a screw with the back section there. The ribbon measures 4-3/4" long and is in excellent condition with a small spot on the ribbon as can be seen in the scan.
