| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (5) Different Old Scottish Terrier Dog Figures or Figurines in this lot. These figurines are not dated but all of them are old. Only one of these has a marking. It is the figurine with a mandolin. On the bottom it is marked ''MADE IN JAPAN'' and on the back it is marked with an ''H'' in a diamond and ''JAPAN''. In this lot two are porcelain or ceramic, two are carved wood, and one is a compressed or molded sawdust material like Syroco or Multi Products items. The mandolin figure is also a cigarette ashtray. There is a place at the top to hold a cigarette and the instrument is hollow to hold ashes. The two carved Scotties are stained a dark brown color. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the top left figurine measures about 2-1/2'' tall. These appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured, except the carved wooden one sitting up begging has one chipped foot and a missing tail. |
