The picture shows a view of this ©1954 Boxed 16mm Man Against Mt. Everest Castle Films Movie. Shown is the box and the film on a 3-11/16'' cardboard movie reel. The film is dated ©1954. It is a black & white Adventure Parade 16mm film. The box pictures a man with mountain climbing or hiking gear and a canoe filming with a movie camera. The title frames of the film are marked as follows:

CASTLE FILMS PRESENTS
MAN AGAINST MOUNT EVEREST
PRODUCED BY DR. FUTER
COPYRIGHT MCMLIV BY UNITED WORLD FILMS, INC.
THEATRICAL AND TELEVISION RIGHTS RESERVED.
ALL FOREIGN RIGHTS RESERVED.

The film shows several men on their final ascent to the summit of Mt. Everest when the weather turned bad. At the end it says that they failed 900 feet from the top. The running time is unknown but the film fills almost all of the 3-11/16'' cardboard reel that it is on. The box measures 3-3/4'' x 3-3/4'' x 3/4''. The film appears to be in mint condition. The box has some wear as pictured and is missing both the top and bottom flaps.
