| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of all (4) Old United States Coast Guard Petty Officer Metal Insignia Pins in this lot. These are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. Each has an American flag shield with stripes below. They are made of silver and gold (on 2nd class stripes) colored metal. They have not been tested for silver or gold. This lot has two sets of pins. There are (2) for a Third Class Petty Officer and (2) for a Second Class Petty Officer. The third class pins are marked ''L.I.G.I.'' on the back, and the second class pins are marked ''TNGI'' and ''V21'' on the back. Each has two pins on the back and all (8) of the pin back sections are included. These measure 13/16'' wide. They appear to be in near mint and mint condition as pictured. |
