Buster Brown   Shoe   Advertising   Character   Book   Premium
The picture shows the front and back covers of this ©1923 BUSTER BROWN SHOES Advertising Premium Webster's Dictionary. Buster Brown and his dog Tige are also pictured inside and on the edge binding as well. This Dictionary was given out as a premium in the 1920's by "C.W. THRASHER, MILFORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE" (see cover). There are 324 pages in this book. It measures 3-3/4" x 5-3/8" x 1". There is obvious age wear to the cover and initials "G.E.W." as can be pictured. The pages are yellowed from age. I noticed that there is one torn page inside and one missing page. There are names written inside as well as some light pencil and crayon markings on a few pages. The cover is a little loose but all intact. It appears to be in good condition. This is only the second one of these I have ever seen.
