| | | | The picture shows a view of this Old Sheaffer's Black Color Fountain Ink Pen. This pen has (5) patent years from 1909 to 1914. It is made of black plastic and the metal parts are believed to be gold plated. The nib is by Sheaffer's as well and it looks like it may be gold. We are not experts on fountain pens, so rather than risk damage, we have not attempted to fill, use, or clean this pen. Because of this, it will be sold ''as is''. 7300259 The closed pen measures 4-9/16'' long. It appears to be in excellent condition with only light wear as pictured. There is also a thin 5/8'' long melt line that does not show in the picture. It is just to the right of the ball on the clip. |
