The picture shows two views of this ©1954 Finicky Fido Trick Dog Novelty Toy Figure. Only the dog figure is included here. The packaging and advertisement are ONLY shown for reference. It was made by Beemak Plastics of Los Angeles, California. The dog has a metal section that goes from the head to the tail inside. It also has a moving metal spring tail. It is made of tan plastic with a painted face. You would push the dog's head into its bowl (the bowl is show on the card but it is not included). It would stay for a moment, then pop up and do a back flip. The Finicky Fido dog is marked on the inside as follows:

BEEMAK
PAT. PEND.

The advertising states that it is a toy, a trick, and a game. The dog figure measures about 3-3/4'' long by about 3-3/4'' tall counting the spring tail. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
