The picture shows all (3) Small 1939 New York World's Fair Items in this lot.

The first items is a black bakelite Trylon & Perishere Advertising Letter Opener. On one side there is a General Electric (GE) logo, and on the other side is the word: TEXTOLITE. It is in near mint condition with a tiny chip on the bottom of the Trylon.

Next is a Pennsylvania Building Post Card. The card is used and was sent from the Fair. There is a paragraph on the back and a written message. It has a one cent Washington postage stamp and it is postmarked Sept. 6, 1939 New York, N.Y.. It is addressed to a person in Norwich, Connecticut. It is in excellent used condition.

The last item here is an advertising match pack cover. There are no matches or striker. Although it is not marked New York Worlds Fair, it uses the Trylon & Perishere theme in the picture. The picture shows a world globe and a paper cone. On the back is more wording but it has some paper loss and paste from being in an old scrap book. The back states that there are branch plants in Lowell, Massachusetts and Rockingham, North Carolina. The front is marked as follows:

THE STANDARD
OF THE WORLD
SONOCO
SERVES THE WORLD
PAPER CARRIERS
SONOCO
PAPER CONES
PAPER CORES
PAPER TUBES
PAPER SPOOLS
PAPER SPECIALITES
ROVING CANS
CORK COTS

To judge the sizes the postcard measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2".
