The picture below shows a larger front and back view of this ©1932 Solar Eclipse VIZ - Eclipse Viewing Filter. One side has a map of New England with New York and Pennsylvania showing where the solar eclipse will be most spectacular on Sunday, August 31, 1932. It also has some instructions. The viewer is made of cardboard with dark cellophane type filter lenses. It is also marked as follows:

VIZ - ECLIPSE
COPYRIGHT BY DERICK STUDIO
1932
APPROVED BY THE ECLIPSE COMMITTEE OF THE AMERICAN ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY

The viewer measures 5'' x 2-1/4''. The cardboard section appears to be in mint condition as pictured, but the dark lenses have wrinkling.
