| | | | The pictures show a front and back view of this Old Avocado Green Panasonic Transistor Radio Model R-1492. The radio is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. The radio was made in Japan by Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, LTD.. The radio runs well on a nine volt battery (not included), or with an electrical cord (also not included). This is an AM - FM radio, but we do not see a switch for the two. There is an earphone outlet on the side, a matching attached green strap handle, and it has a built in antenna. The portable radio measures about 6-3/4'' x 3-3/8'' x 1-3/4''. It is in working order and appears to be in very good condition with some wear and some writing on the back as pictured. It could use a cleaning, but that will be left up to the buyer. |
