| | | | The picture shows this Early Engraved Image Card Of Jeffrerson Davis. This card has an engraved image (in black) of Davis in a suit. It has his name (spelled Jeff. Davis.) below the image and the words "L.Prang & Co. Boston" below his name. This card as well as (2) others listed together in my items were purchased together in one lot. I don't know anything of their origin. A card collector friend has estimated their vintage as being around the1880's or earlier, but I am uncertain. They definitely are old. The back is blank and there is some light soiling but otherwise the card is in good condition. It measures 3-7/8" x 2-7/16". |
