| | | | The pictures below show larger views of this 1930s Time Life March of Time RKO Pictures Radio & Movie Theater Newsreel Program Booklet. This book has dates inside from 1935 to 1937. The pre World War II, Depression Era, book explains the program in detail with photographs, graph charts, theatre marquees, Newspaper headlines, and many different people. Only a sampling of pages are shown here. There are (23) thick spiral bound one sided pages to the book. The images on the pages are black & white photographs. The program edits many thousands of feet of film down to twenty minute issues of March of Time newsreels to be played at theatres in the United States and internationally. There are many different movie theatre marquees pictured and in each is a sign advertising “The March of Time” newsreel issues. There was a different news reel each month played at tens of thousands of theatres in the program. We do not know when this program ended. The book or booklet measures about 9-1/2'' x 7-3/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
