Old Home Week   Advertising   Pin Back Button
The picture shows all (3) Early OLD HOME WEEK Items in this lot. The first item is a ribbon / button. It has a celluloid button inside a metal frame. There are three hanging ribbons, one purple and two gold. There is spotting on the button that can easily be seen in the picture. There is a paper insert. This one has a color image of a house and tree with two hands shaking below. It reads:

WELCOME TO THE OLD HOME

The second item is an old celluloid pin back button. It too has water spotting that can be seen in the picture. There is a paper insert. It has musical notes and it reads:

OLD HOME WEEK
1914
HOME SWEET HOME
DOVER (New Hampshire)
AUG. 25-26-27

The third and final item is a small copper or brass coin / medallion. There is a hole for hanging as a charm. Although the coin is not marked as such, a few years back a collector identified it as being from Greenfield, Massachusetts. I wouldn't know myself. On the side not seen there is the Lord's Prayer within a wreath. The side seen has a detailed image of a log cabin and it reads:

OLD HOME WEEK
1903
CELEBRATION

To judge the sizes the ribbon/button measures 4-1/2" long. Please see scan for the conditions.
