The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Pioneer & Native American Indian Metal Coin Die. It appears to be a die or for making a die to mint medals. Both sides have a raised area. The back side is blank. The front side has a very detailed raised prairie image with a Pioneer and a Native American Indian fighting with a rifle and a hatchet or tomahawk. The Pioneer is wearing a buckskin suit. He has a knife on his side and his hat has fallen to the ground. The Native has a shield with feathers. There is a horse on the ground in the grass in the background between them. It is unknown what medal, coin, or token that this was used to make. There is a marking under the Indian that has two circles, the letter V and what appears to be a cross. The metal that it is made from is unknown. It measures 1-3/4'' wide. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
