The picture shows this 1929 London, Canada Air Mail Inauguration Letter & Envelope. The letter was postmarked and sent on July 15th, 1929 from W.H. Hood, Manager of the London, Canada Chamber of Commerce to the Manager of the Sanford, Maine Chamber of Commerce.

The envelope and the letterhead both picture an airplane. There is a 5 cent Canadian postage stamp with an airplane (torn when opened). The envelope has an invitation to visit London's Modern Airport. There is a stamp that pictures Ontario University. and reads as follows:

CANADA AIR MAIL
FIRST REGULAR OFFICIAL FLIGHT
LONDON TO ONTARIO

To judge the sizes the letter measures 8-1/2" x 11". The letter is in near mint condition with folds and the envelope is excellent and opened on the right side.
