The picture shows a view of all (5) Different Unused Airline Advertising Gum Ball Machine Prize Toy Rings in this lot. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1960s or early 1970s. These rings were normally given as a premium to children by the flight crew when they were flying, but these particular ones (same rings) were used as a prize in an old gumball machine.

All (5) rings are unused and are still on their original colored plastic holders. These special ring holders allowed the rings to be sold in machines without using capsules. Without the holders the rings would tangle and jam the machine. Included here are (3) red rings with gold print and (2) blue rings with silver print. They are marked as follows:

TWA JUNIOR STEWARDESS (blue)
TWA JUNIOR PILOT (red)
AA JUNIOR STEWARDESS (blue)
AA JUNIOR PILOT (red)
AA JUNIOR STEWARDESS (red)

The rings are expandable in the back. To judge the sizes the ring faces each measures 5/8'' wide. They are in near mint to mint unused condition as pictured.
