The picture shows four views of this 1950's Howdy Doody Premium Toy Ring.

It is made of plastic. The ring has a silver chrome paint and Howdy Doody's face is painted in color. This ring is believed to have been a give away premium from Poll Parrot Shoes, but may have been used by other companies or as a prize in a gumball machine as well. Howdy Doody was sponsored over the years by

Kellogg's Cereal
Nabisco Cereal
Ideal Toys
Marx Toys
Welch's Grape Juice
Mars Candy
Tootsie Roll Candy
Poll Parrot Shoes
Ovaltine
Colgate
Wonder Bread.

The ring measures 3/4" wide. It is a fairly scarce toy ring in good condition with paint wear as pictured.
