| The picture shows a view of this Old Premium Currier & Ives Print Dreft Laundry Soap Box Back. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1960s. This is from a time when laundry soap or detergent came with dishes, glasses, towels and the like as premiums. This has the box back, top, and some of the sides. It could be trimmed if desired, but the rest contains some information. Note the 32 cent price. The premium print is from Currier & Ives. It is entitled ''THE STRAW - YARD, WINTER.'' It pictures an old farm house, stables, barn, (7) horses, (7) pigs, ducks, chickens, birds, anf trees. This Proctor & Gamble box originally came with a mail in offer inside to order extra prints. To judge the size the print itself withing dotted lines measures about 8-1/2'' x 6''. It has survived all these years but is in fair condition with discoloration from age and/or the soap. |
