| | | | The picture shows a view of all (11) Old Metal Smile Face Gum Ball Machine Prize Toy Rings in this lot. These toy rings are not dated but they were used as prizes in capsules of 1960s and 1970s gumball machines. These may have also been sold in old five and dime stores or used as carnival prizes. (6) of these rings have painted faces. They and the (2) top right ones are believed to be from the 1960s. The (2) with cut out eyes and mouths are from the 1970s, and the yellow one on the right is believed to be from the 1980s. All of these are adjustable for different size fingers. These rings are not marked and the makers are unknown. To judge the sizes, the faces of the rings on the left each measure about 5/8'' wide. They appear to be in mint unused condition except for one that has wear and rust as pictured. |
