The picture shows a view of this Early Cog Railway Photograph Glass Slide. This slide is not dated but it came from a lot that many were dated from the 1890s to the 1910s. It pictures an old train engine pushing a passenger car. Passengers can be seen in the car and the Engineer is in the door. The location and railroad company are unknown.

An interesting feature of this slide is the men in the foreground. One man with a cane is apparently being carried about by two men in a wicker looking cart. It is unknown if the man is handicapped or if he just prefers to be carried. It seems unusual that the cart has no wheels. There are three men off in the distance on the right that can be seen as well.

The slide measures 4'' x 3-1/4''. It is in mint as made condition.
