The picture shows a view of this ©1959 Submarines Golden Library of Knowledge Book. This (62) page book is filled with information and pictures about ''SUBMARINES''. It is the story of underwater craft from the diving bell of 300 B.C. to nuclear powered ships. The book is by Edward C. Stephens and illustrated by Jack Coggins with the cover by Lowell Hess. The book also contains many great old photographs as well. It is ©1959 and published by Golden Press, Inc. of Rockefeller Center, New York, N.Y.. It was also published by The Musson Book Company, Ltd. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The book measures 6-7/8'' x 8-1/4'' x 1/2''. It appears to be in excellent used condition as pictured. There is some edge wear and a scrape mark on the cover and a name ''Joe'' and ''1963'' year written on the first page.
