| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this 1940s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Lithographed Tin Toy Prize Bull Dog Book Mark. The bookmark is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. It is die cut but rthe center section that holds on to pages is missing. The book mark pictures a bulldog and it reads: “CRACKER JACK BOOK MARK”. There are four different dog bookmarks to the complete set. The others include a Scottish Terrier (Scottie Dog), a Cocker Spaniel, and a Puppy Dog. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize is Z-0973, and it was by The Cosmo Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois. The dog bookmarker prize measures about 13/16'' x 2-3/4''. It appears to be in poor condition because of the missing center section and a rust spot as pictured and the back side has a lightly rough surface. This would serve as an example until a better one comes along. |
