The picture shows a front and back view of this 1917 Anchorage Alaska Baseball Game Real Photo Post Card. The teams and players in the photograph are unknown. The photo pictures a ball field with a grandstand, baseball players, and spectators. The front of the postcard is marked as follows:

BALL GAME.
MAY 30 - 1917
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA
STRYE

The post card was not mailed but does have a written message on the back that reads as follows:

This is the Ball Park where the Sports were held yesterday. I was a spectator at the game here on portrayed. I in 1917 had a league of 4 teams ????? they were very nearly of the same standard as the North West League. Now the Base Ball talent is very ordinary. F.

The postcard measures 5-3/8'' x 3-3/8''. It is in good condition with a diagonal crease. The postcard at one time had been in a scrap book. The back has some paste and scrapbook paper as pictured.
