The picture shows two views of this Old Hand Blown Blue Glass Sewing or Darning Tool. The tool is not dated but it is old. It is not marked and the maker is unknown. There is a pontil mark on the smaller side where it was cut from the glass rod or glass blowing tool. This tool is used in sewing or re-weaving a hole repair on cloth or clothing. At its wides spots it measures about 5-1/4'' x 2-1/4''. It is in mint condition as pictured.
