The picture shows a view of this Old United States Marine Corps Semper Fidelis Pin Back Button. The pinback button is not dated and the years that it was made is unknown. Semper Fidelis is Latin for ''Always Faithful'' or ''Always Loyal''. Well known in the United States as the motto of the United States Marine Corps (and often shortened to Semper Fi in Marine contexts). Semper Fidelis has also served as a slogan for many families and entities, in many countries, dated to have been started no later than the 16th century. The pin has a red, white, blue, and gold imprinted celluloid covering. It has a gold star in the center and a red edge. This pin back button measures 1-1/4'' wide. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured.
